Welcome to Galco’s World Grocery, a storefront in Highland Park, Los Angeles, that sells hundreds of classic, small batch, and exotic sodas. If you’re anything like me, when you’re stoned, you crave delicious, often sugary beverages. So Galco’s is a thirst-quenching dream, and luckily for me it’s only a few blocks from my house.

Take in the art, undoubtedly created by a society of stoned soda bottles.

Before we get to the delicious drinks, there’s a wide, dazzling selection of candy.

There’s a lot of brands you don’t see too often. And family friendly classics like these:

If you’re into cheesy, vintage advertising art, the boxes of old sodas are a visual feast just as good as the vast soda varieties.

Oh, hell yes, this cutout of the Galco’s owner is as lit as I am.

I did not buy this classy Faygo.

But I did buy some Bundaberg peach soda and a couple different standard colas. And now my stony sweet tooth is pleased as hell. If you’re ever in Highland Park and looking for a pleasant time, make sure to hit up Galco’s.
